Makiya & Partners Legal Practitioners have been selected for induction into the National Excellence Hall of Fame, the organization announced this week.
The induction, scheduled for August 30, 2025, will take place at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).
The firm will be honored for its contributions to the legal industry, following a review process led by Professor Kazadi Kalangu and advised by Honorable Esau Mupfumi.
Hall of Fame secretary Tatenda Mutsengi said the firm was recognized for “outstanding expertise, innovation, and client care.”
“After a rigorous evaluation process, your law firm has emerged as a shining example of excellence in legal practice, demonstrating exceptional expertise, innovation, and client care. The partners and the law firm as a whole will be inducted into the National Excellence Hall of Fame on August 30, 2025, at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC),”Mutsengi said “During the ceremony, they will be honored with a statue, inducted into our online museum, and presented with a sacred gown of immortals, legends, or icons. This gown features the signature of professors, officials, and the pangolin logo, symbolising uniqueness and power.”
